mention は、人を目的語に取ることができません。
また「～について述べる」というときに
× mention about ～ としてはいけません。
○ mention ～ となります。

などの文も覚えておくといいでしょう。
SVOOを取らない動詞を覚えましょう。
今日は、人を目的語に取らないし、that節が来てもSVOOにならないものを覚えましょう。

「彼らは彼に一人で行くように提案した」
